Village’s Pre-workout Protein Balls

Serves: 12 (2 balls per serving)

Ingredients:
2 cups sprouted rolled oats
1 cup protein powder
1/4 cup ground flax meal
1 cup nut butter
3 tbsp cacao nibs
4 tbsp date syrup, honey, or maple syrup pinch of good quality salt

  1. In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients together.

  2. Add your syrup and nut butter, mix well until it clumps together.

  3. Using your hands, clump and roll small balls, aiming for about 6 balls for each quarter of the mixture to end up with 24 total balls.

  4. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to a week, freeze for up to 2 months.

Note: Change it up! Add other ingredients such as different nut butters. coconut flakes, sesame seeds, chia seeds, chopped pumpkin seeds, other chopped nuts, cacao powder, turmeric, ginger, etc to create endless variations to this simple packable snack.
